Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, the ex-CEO of Binance, has asked the United States District Court to confidentially seal his travel documents, citing family privacy concerns.

This arises as CZ faces stringent travel restrictions, preventing his return to the United Arab Emirates, where he is scheduled to attend his sentencing hearing in February 2024.

CZ Appeals to Court for Protection of Child’s Privacy

According to a recent court filing, CZ has made the request in an effort to protect confidential information and privacy of his child from the public.

“The Morion, Submission Order should be scaled because they contain sensitive private medical information regarding Mr. Zhao’s child.”

Meanwhile, CZ has once again secured a spot on Bloomberg’s billionaires list. Furthermore, marking a substantial surge in his net worth.

According to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, CZ sits at the 35th richest person in the world. CZ has a net worth of $37.2 billion, with it going up $24.6 billion in this year alone.
